Highlights of the day were the launch of the book “From Beauaraba to Back Creek” written by local author Grant Uebergang, and official opening of the relocated Yandilla Railway Cream Shed. The program commenced with an Ecumenical Thanksgiving at the Railway Station.

Local Bush Poet Gary Fogarty was MC, and Regional Town Crier Ralph Cockle introduced the formalities. There was musical entertainment throughout the day. The local Arts & Crafts Group put on a Fashion Parade of 100 years of fashion. Vintage Cars and Trucks and Darling Downs Model Railway Club were some of the many displays. Children’s activities, mini train rides and BBQ and light refreshments were also available.
